Beltane Walpurgis Night is one of the eight annual festivals of witches. It is the festival of the mystical union of goddess & god.
Feast of the mystical union of the goddess and god, the goddess wedding of Odin with the goddess Freya.
In the German language this union, or wedding of the gods, is handed down as Odin's courtship of the goddess Freya. One of the oldest customs that have survived to this day is the erection of a maypole.
