In our country, death, as a part of life, is suppressed by most people as frightening. This means that ancestor worship is no longer an issue. Having an ancestor pot is one way of returning to this topic and performing one or two ancestor rituals. One idea would be to set up an ancestral altar or an ancestral corner where the ancestral pot can serve as a place for the deceased. It is usually filled with a little soil for this purpose. For example, you could use a handful of cemetery soil. Pictures or small objects of the deceased can also be added.

If you have a wish or ask for help with a problem, you can write it on a piece of paper and place it in the pot. The ancestors will certainly be pleased with a small offering, for example a candle or incense, as a sign of gratitude.
