As this variety is particularly rich in boswellic acid, it is highly sought after. Indian incense unfolds a similar fragrance when smoked to that of Arabian and African incense, but is somewhat fresher. In India it is used to open the heart chakra. It is the best incense for protection, purification and blessing.
