Baphomet

Door knocker "Baphomet", made of polyresin (cast stone) with metal knocker, height approx. 23 cm.

Baphomet: light and darkness. For many he is a symbol of black magic, the goat is a specific part of the Black Sabbath. The fire torch between his horns reveals the deeper meaning of the perpetual struggle between light and darkness. The pentagram, in its upright form, symbolizes the harmony of the five elements: air, fire, water, earth and ether.

In reverse form, the pentagram is also called Drudenfuß, Pythagorean sign, witch star, pentagramma, among others. A mystical sign, as a symbol of secrets, of the perfection of the universe, or as a symbol of protection.
